Terms of Use

Last updated October 5, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and SimplifyPC (“we”, “us”) about the SimplifyPC app, both Free and Plus, and this website. By downloading, installing or using SimplifyPC, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use SimplifyPC.

The short version

  • SimplifyPC changes how Windows is set up. You choose the improvements, and you are responsible for your PC.
  • Back up anything important before you start.
  • SimplifyPC is provided “as is”, with no promise that it will work perfectly on your PC.
  • Plus is paid once and all sales are final, so please try Free first.
  • We don’t promise support, updates or fixes.

This summary is here to help. The full terms below are what count.

1. What SimplifyPC does

SimplifyPC makes improvements to how Windows 11 is set up. Depending on what you choose, it can change Windows settings, remove apps that came with your PC, install a web browser and an ad blocker, remove other antivirus programs, change your PC’s DNS setting and add shortcuts to your desktop. It lists every improvement before it starts, and it asks Windows to make a restore point first.

2. Your responsibilities

You use SimplifyPC at your own risk. You are responsible for:

3. What Undo can and can’t do

SimplifyPC remembers the settings it changes, so Undo can put them back. Undo has limits:

We don’t promise that Undo or a restore point will put your PC back exactly as it was.

4. Your license

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SimplifyPC under these terms.

You may not sell, rent, share or publish your license key, change or copy the app to get around the license, or use SimplifyPC to provide paid services to others without our written permission. We keep all rights not given to you here. Your license ends automatically if you break these terms.

5. Payment and final sale

Plus costs the price shown at checkout and is paid once. There is no subscription. Purchases are made through our reseller, which handles checkout, payment, sales tax and receipts. The reseller’s own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

All sales are final. Because you can try SimplifyPC Free before you buy, we don’t give refunds for Plus, including when you change your mind or when Plus doesn’t suit your PC. This doesn’t limit any refund the law requires, or a refund our reseller decides to give under its buyer terms.

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom: Plus is digital content that is delivered right away. By asking for it to be unlocked immediately, you agree that delivery starts at once, and you lose your 14-day right to cancel once it has started.

6. No warranty

SimplifyPC is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t promise that SimplifyPC will work on your PC, be free of errors, keep your PC or information safe, or give the results you want. Scam site blocking, ad blocking and virus scans lower the risk but can’t stop every threat.

7. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, money, time or use of your PC, that comes from using SimplifyPC or from not being able to use it, even if we were told it could happen. Our total liability for any claim about SimplifyPC is limited to the amount you paid for Plus.

Some places don’t allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Where that happens, our liability is limited as far as the law allows.

8. Claims by others

If someone else makes a claim against us because of how you used SimplifyPC, for example the owner of a PC you changed without their permission, you agree to cover our resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees.

9. Support and updates

SimplifyPC is a do-it-yourself tool. We don’t promise support, replies to email, updates or fixes. We may change SimplifyPC, or stop offering it, at any time. If we release an update, these terms apply to it too.

10. Other software and services

SimplifyPC works with software and services from other companies, such as Microsoft Windows, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, the uBlock Origin and uBlock Origin Lite ad blockers, and Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.2 DNS service. Each comes with its own terms. We are not affiliated with these companies and are not responsible for their software or services. SimplifyPC is not made, endorsed or supported by Microsoft.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using SimplifyPC after an update, the new terms apply.

12. The rest

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about SimplifyPC. If any part of them can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a part right away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer these terms or your license to anyone else.
